Christian Anthony Ganem, local artist, musician and roastmaster/magaer of GoodVibes Certified Organic Roasters, will present his first solo art exhibit today at the Framed Art Superstore. Ganem uses the sacks that his coffee beans arrive in for roasting, turning them into a canvas, to which he then applies paint enhancing original markings and stenciling original designs. GoodVibes will provide the fruits of the roaster's labors and there will be plenty to nosh on as well. Exhibited original pieces will be for sale and Ganem will discuss commissioned work.

Mountain Garden Club Holiday Boutique. The Mountain Garden Club's Annual Holiday Boutique "Deck the Halls" will be held at the North Conway Community Center next to Schouler Park in North Conway Village. The doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the boutique lasts until everything is gone. It usually sells out by 11:30 a.m., so come early! As always, the "halls" will be decked with a selection of seasonal decorations, ornaments and holiday gifts, all made by the Mountain Garden Club members. There will be decorated indoor holiday greens baskets, boxwood trees and centerpieces with candles, fragrant paperwhite narcissus and dramatic amaryllis, food for our feathered and furry friends and for you as well. Several new items will be featured this year — fairy houses for indoors or out and hand-painted wooden sleighs, sleds and candles with greens decorations.

Ossipee Holiday Celebration. The Ossipee Recreation Department celebrates the holidays with two events today at the Ossipee Town Hall, located on Main Street in Center Ossipee. The day will start off with the annual Breakfast With Santa from 9 to 11 a.m. The cost is $3 per child which includes a kuight breakfast with Santa, a photo taken with Santa, and the opportunity to make an ornament to take home. The day will end with the Community Christmas Celebration, 5-8 p.m. This event features a potluck dinner with food from several restaurants in Ossipee, live music featuring Beverly Woods and Seth Austen, door prizes, and horsedrawn hayrides. There is no cost but patrons are asked to bring a dessert item to share.
